Default 05 vs. 07 repsol cbr1000rr?

There are two for sale In my area. The 05 is $6500 and the 07 is $7500. What's the difference in these two years? Styling, parts, engine, trans. Ect. Id go for the 07 if there are better changes In the years. What ya think?

07 for sure....better work on that price though. What area/state?

Fairings changed in 06 and thinned out so they look more aggressive imo.

Engine casing changed too.

I have an 06 so cant speak to the performance from the piror year. Search google on specs and there is alot of info out there.

Thanks. Also was there any difference in the repsol verion and the stock 1000 rr's? There is also a non repsol one for $6800. I went to the dealer and they got 1 08 left for $8200. If they still got it I may get that. How would that compare to an 07? I'll definatly work on the price of the used bikes. I'm in sw mo by the way.

They are the same bike. A 1k is a 1k. Only difference with a Repsol is the color scheme.

do yourself a favor and get the 08. as an 06 owner the 08 is a huge improvement. get the 08 and you will never be sorry you did.

Had a repsol 05 and now have a 08.. Wow trust me get the 08.. The repsol looked good, was quick but can handle for nothing.. The 08 is a rocket and handles like a 600.. Amazing bike I love it and so would you.. If you really like the repsol look save some money and get the ultimate 09 repsol..
