I'm looking for a used bike, not sure if I want a 2006 or 2005 RR or a 2005 Repsol, I may go back to my R1.

Other than the plastics and price, is there any other difference between the 2005 1000 RRand 05 Repsol?

I don't care much about looks, I want performance, but of course I always like the Repsol look...

the repsol is a paint scheme only no difference in performance

go with the 06-07 for a nice improvement over the 04-05 (07 even comes in repsol)

or wait a few months for the 08 which is supposed to be a hell of a nice improvement

Wait for the 08. If its nothing special then go with an 06 or 07.

only if you use honda polish,
any other brand will remove .5hp per sticker

 

Im sure you get 3hp less with a repsol hahahaha
