Default 04 cbr1000 oil leak??????

I have a 2004 CBR1000RR. It has about 7000 miles on it and when it gets hot, it leaks a small amount of oil from the bottom of the engine. As it cools down, the leak goes away. I have changed the oil and filter and checked to make sure the oil level is proper. Any ideas?

Did you replace the washer under the drain plug?

It doesn't seems to be coming from the oil drain plug, but I will double check the seal and the torque. Thanks!

When I bought my bike the mechanic told me that most 1K's lose oil when Ridden.
He said that when riden hard the oil will at times come out of the exhaust (black smoke usually)

I don't know if this is true, so don't cut my nuts off...

I have an 04 also and I noticed that when I change the oil , about a week later the level is down.
I thought it was normal on 1k's
