Hey everyone, long time no post. I'm still around and I still have the Touricane! Not much has changed on the bike, but I did sell the GTS last fall, and bought something else. Not a motorcycle, but still fun! I also switched jobs and that has taken a big chunk of my time. I've got a few rides planed for this summer, now the the weather has finally got decent! We had snow here in April for crying out loud!

I'm planning on a couple of changes on the bike. First, I think I'll change out the front springs and put in the cartridge emulators, and change out the grips as well they are almost warn out.. I want to put on a Vista cruise too. I had that on the GTS and it made those 500 mile days across Montana more bareable. It's almost time for another set of tires too. I've got 10,000 miles of the Metzler Z6's, and they still look pretty good tread wise, but I've seen them go from good to cords fast. The last part seems to wear faster.

Anyway, just wanted to check back in and say hi!

 

It’s nice to hear from you again. If I get the insurance work finished on the house I was thinking about heading X-country to visit a friend in WA. It has been raining here since March and I need a change, like heading to sunny Seattle, it can’t be any worse.

 

It will be nice here until late September. You have my word on that. Let me know when you will be here so we can meet up!
