Default Wobbly pegs?

I hqaven't yet taken the covers anda pegs off to investigate, but I'm bored at work, so I thought I'd ask ahead of working on it...

the pegs (especially the right side) both seem to have worn out rubber bushings, as they angle back. The right side is bad enough that the rear brake m/c presses into the swingarm when I put weight on it.

question: are the bushings replaceable on their own, and is this the problem? Do I need all-new assemblies? What's your experience?

Thanks!

(I know this is all figure-outable on my own...but...I'm bored! Talk to me!!! )

I'm sure you can replace the bushings. Even if Honda says you can't... I'm sure you can.
Hell, one of the bolts just may be loose a little bit? Maybe missing one?

I've never had that problem, though. Don't even think I've heard of anyone with that problem.

So when you lay weight on the outside on a lefty, do you get a little automatic rear brake, too?

Nope...no automatic brake

ya both of them are saggy, but the right one is particularly bad. Not missing any bolts, but I haven't taken it apart to see what's what. I'll prolly do that over the weekend.

I just looked at the fiche (had me intrigued on the bushings) and it looks like the lower is replaceable?? But not the upper? That doesn't seem to make sense.

Looking at a real pic of the inside of the bracket, it looks like you should easily be able to change both bushings, though....

Let us know how it goes, man.
