Some tenders offer this option. A Walmart one mostlikely will not because Walmart sucks.

Wal-Mart sucks???!!! Not WAL-MART!! LOL...
I have two of those little tenders on my bikes atm. I've had my wet cell diehard in my CBR now for about 3yrs using the tender off and on. I intended to buy a nicer one, but the $19 one at wally world was well.... $19 (and right in front of me). It seems to work ok, but it's less than ideal. It does nothing but trickle charge at 1.5A.

I use this one COMPLETELY AUTOMATIC!!! When she's charged up it dumps juice off. I more or less plug her in and walk away. Even charging a battery for the 1st time. This thing has been LEGIT!!!!
Green = Charging
Green / Red = Full Charge
Green / Red cycle (changing colors) = Charged and not putting more charge till it till she needs it!
Automatically cylces on/off without interference! I do tend to unplug her after a "full" charge, then just throw her back on a few days later if she's dormant.
If your's works, it works. If not ge this one, its great!
Had to show off new tail too Tank is off to the painters Tues???

Michael, make yourself up a cable with two plugs a male and a female .Two pins, one for live, one for earth
Leave the one (female) attached to the battery and tied on with a zip strap somewhere out of sight.
You can then connect your charger without removing the seat every time........
FWIW
