kilgoretrout, I thought the same thing when I read that post. The last time I actually was on my *** I was riding a VF1100S, and what I think happened was that I locked up my rear brake when leaning over a bit, in the rain, and my bike just came out from under me. I've long thought that I wouldn't have gone down had that bike had linked brakes, since linked brakes force you into a front brake-rear brake balance making it lass likely that you'll lock up either one.
