I use a 3M product called DuraMix 40/40. It's a 2 part epoxy that costs about $40 a tube plus a $50 squeeze gun, but I wouldn't use anything else.

I've used a product called Plastex, available in the UK from Busters and others (and maybe direct too). It's great for repairing cracks, re-forming tabs etc.

Hats off to you!... I sourceda Plastexproduct supplier in Reno NV and ordered some for some of my tabs that need help...
Seems like the older the plastic, the more brittle they become.

WoW! FYI- This weekend I got around to using the Crack and Tab repair stuff -Plastex- on various areas, inner fairing tab, edge cracks, boken or completely missing side panel tabs...

It worked incredibly well and worth every bit paid ~$40 U.S. for more that enough material supplied.

I would post pics but the package comes with a pc-disc and great step by step pic instructions for usage.

If you've got some nagging tab issue, get this stuff...

btw- there's been an addition to the family...

Hey BAR, nice new addition - may you have many happy and safe miles.
I see Gunny's back ( evening, Gunny - where have you been ? Out riding, I bet !)
Sounds like plastex is the way to go - I'll have to see what's available here - most of our guys use a type of plastic powder, which is heated and then applied. Name unknown, but works well.
I've also used Epidermix 372 which is a two part epoxy, really strong - can even be machined in a lathe !
