what modle is my bike how do i find out?
Hey:
And as you probally figured out the H = 87, J = 88, K = 89, L = 90
and sometimes its used to indicate Euro or British registration years.
Also in the North American market both 95 and 96 had that color
scheme as my 95 was the same colors as yours.
The earlier models (87-89) 1st gen are known as Hurricanes.
The 90-92(no USA 92) 2nd Gen, had a bodywork/chassis change and
a motor upgrade but is the same basic bike as the Hurricanes.
Also went to wider wheels and speedo on the chain case
The 93-99 (00 in some parts of the world),
the DCBS and LBS are both the same 3rd generation CBR 1kF bikes,
just different markets, and the only changes are cosmetic between the
years 93-00, The linked brake system (LBS or DCBS) is the main difference
between the 90-92 and 93-00 bikes, As most else is the same but the rear
tail and fairing bits.
Hope this helps
