Default Interesting find on my bike....

Well i cleaned the neutral light switch thing and i noticed theirs a black "box" with a hose coming out of it right next to the rear shock.

Now i have no idea what this box is or what it does but i do know the other side of the hose is just chilling not connected to anything.
I dont think its supposed to be disconnected but i could be wrong, anyone know what im talking about???

Black box is green.
Hose is Red lol

Not quite sure what you're indicating but you're describing the position of the fuel pump.
Also, that hose should not be coming thru the heel guard of the rearset.

Cant really see well in the pic, but could it be an evap canister? The hose and clamps look like typical evap stuff. The fact that it's not connected to anything points to it being a vent line.

Does the little hose go to the bottom of it? If so, follow it. I bet it goes to the vent on the gas tank.

The little hose will go to a little fitting in the tank. The big one off the canister is supposed to vent to atmosphere. Run it out the bottom of the bike. The big drain fitting on the tank just is a pass through from the filler area for water or spilled fuel that might get in there.
