i was just curious to what everyone out there uses their bikes for. racing, cruisin around, leisure, longer rides, work transportation. might learn a thing or two.
personally i ride mine for leisure around the country side, and the occasional whooping of the local harleys(they never learn hahaha...)
i haven't really taken her for any longer rides yet. i'm planning on taking it to st. louis next year, that should be a pretty long ride.

until then keepin it on two wheels.

 

currently a mowing strip!! needs cam chain and tensioner real bad!! so its parked up against the fence waiting on me to have some cash for parts.
normally a daily rider for work but i had to get a beater car whilst i wait.

recreation mainly, sometimes if my truck takes a crap I'll use the bike to get to work.

 

The CBR1000F: short weekend tours (600 miles is a pretty short tour, right?), business trips to nearby cities when I can get away with it, leisure rides in the country, some runs to the hardware store. The CB650: round town errands, short leisure rides in the country. They are also used as eye candy for the driveway.

 

everything..... car broke last fall and i sold it due to the gas prices. then got my 87 and NEVER went back..... from light to light racing, to just cruising.....its great! but i'll be damned if i dont get another car soon for this cold weather that coming in.

 

Mine gets used for taking me to work and back THEN on the weekends every chance we get we are OFF and since last weekend we have done close on 1000 Ks hopefully at the end of the year we are headed from Central Queenlsand down the East coast of Australia to tasmania then up to Adelaide then back to C.Q. trip should be anywahere from 5,000 to 7,000 Ks so I am getting the wife used to weekend trips and she cant get enough of it

 

My CBR is the only transportation I possess, so I use it for everything. I'm very lucky right now cos my 30 mile round trip to work and back is through some beautiful countryside. Then there is the very occasional jaunt at the weekend - generally not very far, maybe a 300 mile round trip. I'd like to do more jaunts but i'm obliged to go to the pub quite a lot on the weekend.

 

It's my onle mean of transportation that I own. So I use it for about everything you can use a bike for, and the CBR1000F is just doing one hell of a job at that :-)

 

I use mine for a weekend fling, and sometimes when the weather is good and I have to do a trip up the coast.

Look at what I brought yesterday, it's coming into 4 wheel drive season.
