Ha! That's a Suzuki Grand Vitara in the states. I think it's a XL7 Model. My Ex has a 2000 GV limited, which is shorter.

I use my '95 for commuting, the first 10km is in a 100 zone where everybody seems to be dragging their feet to work in the morning driving their cages at around 80. I overtake up to 5 times every morning... getting good at judging when and where cars are likely to pull out in front of me... hopefully I can stay ahead of the game!

If it's raining, I'll take my Jimny - they're about half the size of an XL7 Most weekends are usually a tank or two. The good twisties are few and far between

 

Driving to work on the weekdays, racing the small roads on weekends.

My partner went into the Suzuki dealership last year to trade here Vitara for a new XL-7, and she drove out in a new swift, so I had to get one.

Just need a bull bar, spotties and off I go, it’s had a small lift done to it, and I got a basket and bags for the top.

 

I use my bike to get back and forwards to work, I use it to go round corners really fast and spin the rear wheel I take the missus shopping on it and it also proves as an excellent piece of transport for what ever is required either be it visiting my Nan or going to see my mum and dad or going to a mates.

I use all 3 for just about all transportation - each has been on at least one crosscountry trip (west coast to east coast and back) and I alternated all three for commuting to work (before I retired). Now I use them for touring and just about anything that doesn't involve carrying large objects - I've even transported large sacks of dog food (40 ibs) and a saddle (equestrian type) on the back of my bike. I use the XX almost exclusively for trips longer than 50 miles anymore. Unlike many riders, I actually prefer using the bikes in heavy traffic to driving my little truck. The 550 Nighthawk is set up for bad weather (rain here in the Pacific Northwet) so it gets ridden during the winter more than the XX and the 1000F. I don't use 4 wheels anymore than absolutely necessary.

I use mine whenever i get a chance, well that used to be the case, it died today, and you know when you get that feeling that it is serious, well i have that feeling... had a 4 day weekend recently, clocked up about 1,800k's, was a lot of fun...

 

Mine is filling in the gaps left after my wife of 20 years left! What better way to cheer up than weekend blasts through the valleys, and out of town? I dont have a Suzuki Vitara (seems quite popular) but have got a 2006 Pajero Exceed for work (pretty bling bling, has tv, sat nav, 2xdvds, etc).
