What brand of oil do you use most?
Hey:
I was just wondering what is the most common and what brand of oil do you use most?
I use 4 different types in my bikes, how about you?
You may pick more than one, as many as you use.

Brand doesn't matter that much. What matters is that the oil is compatible with wet clutches. Look for one that meets JASO-MA specification, listed on the back.
With that said, I use rotella t6 (synthetic) available at Walmart. Its made by shell for diesels ans bikes without all the slippery additives.

Hey:
I agree demon, that is the most important thing is it JASO-MA, or not as its only time befor your clutch will slip if not. I was thinking this was more for common Bike oils and your Favorite brand. I used to use Redline then switched to Maxima and Klotz for my Race bikes but Use Shell Rotella T6 too as well as Mobil 1 in my street bikes. Both SRT6 & M1 work great as I change it whenever it gets dirty or 5,000 miles whichever comes 1st and check it weekly for colour and level.

Even though Shell is represented in Finland, we don`t have the Rotella oils here.
Castrol Act>evo 20w50 in my f2, the engine is pretty worn and leaner oil seeps out through the pistons etc and the gears rattle. That stuff takes care of both almost completely. It`s a beech to get here, most of the time the vendors only have one or two bottles and you have to go hunt for them all over to get enough.

motul 15w50the oil of the gods| i tried other stuff but the bike does not react as good as with this oil, run lower in temp quieter all that sort of good stuff, even the transmission is smoother
I use the Castrol GPS Power 1 ( 10W 40 ) in both my 1000F and the Blackbird. Never had any dramas with clutch slip. It is expensive though. I think here the Rotella oil used by the guys in the USA is called Rimula. If that's the case I may try that oil in future just to see how it goes. The guys in the USA seem to think its pretty good. I'll do my research and see what name it goes by here.
The almighty Wikipedia said Rimula is a multi-national brand fully comparable to the Rotella even in product names such as t-5 and such. It seems to be originally meant fot big rig engines, which got me thinking... Gotta check if my truck parts supplier has it...
Got my hands on a consignment of Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck recently (16 Gals) 100 bucks
been using that - I'm kinda brand agnostic - just go for the "quality" type "deal/steal" most
times..... Like Mobil Delvac , Rotella T , Delo etc.
