@ Gunk, here it's the green handle

Woof,
Saw this guy this morning. Let this be a visual reminder to amplify your statement

So I had a mild panic attack this afternoon. I was just finishing filling up my jeep, when I realized I had a green handle in my hand. Going by Woofs statement about diseal having the green handle, i started doubting my sanity, (not the 1st time). The I remembered I was at a BP station. They are backwards. The green hand is for gas and the black handle is for diseal. I felt like an idiot.

Not many BP's in my area. They took over the Mobil stations where I used to live then became Union 76 stations.

Where I live now it is Shell or stay home

Here is the offending pump. A quick glance with the green bit on it one can mistake it ....well I did.

WOW! Easy enough to make that mistake in either direction.
I remember back in the day when unleaded first came out in the states. The old leaded filler neck was huge compared to the smaller neck of the unleaded and simply wouldn't fit in the filler hole of an unleaded car. I'm not sure, haven't owned a diesel here, but I think diesel necks are bigger and won't fit in unleaded vehicles. When filling a bike, the difference in size would give a person a visual clue as to what you would be pumping. I can't believe how similar those you posted look alike.
