Valve adjustment on 88 Hurricane 1000
Hey,
we need some help on adjusting the valves and springs on an '88 Hurricane 1000. Our question is when doing the adustments on the valves to get correct spacing measurements, cylinder one and four were on top dead, but 2 and 3 were not. Do we need to adjust 2 and 3 to their own top dead to get correct valve measurements or can we leave it at the top dead on cyl 1 and 4?
If there is a walkthru on how to adjust valves on a similar engine that would be the most useful.
Thanks

Grab a manual
We could go through the step by step , but .... the best thing to do is grab a manual and have a quick read ..
I would get both if you do not have them ?
The Std general CBR600-CBR1000 Honda service manual..
http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp
The better manual I think, from Martins link here ..
