Indeed. Look's like it's been filler-sprayed and left like that.
When are people gonna learn? Paint it like it was or not at all.
Custom colours are ok as long as they are done right. I had an '89FZR400 that I bought wrecked and after re building the plastics and the front fork, I decided to paint it yellow (Corvette Yellow), but to make it look authentic, I bought an entire set of original decals and re installed them so the bike looked like it came from the factory with that paint. To me, having the proper decals after a repaint makes all the difference between a good paint job and somethign that is just a respray. This goes for cars too.

OK. I can sympathize with hsdavisjr. I bought my 95 in Oct. 2003 off ebay with 12,000 miles (18,000 km for non yanks) for $2000- I was the only bidder. The first time I saw the pictures in the ebay listing I thought, "that's one uuuugly bike". But the price was right and I figured a cheap paint job could make it presentable. Anyhow, I skipped the paint job but did give it a mild (and cheap) makeover to the point where I was no longer embarassed by it. The first attached pic was the bike I brought home and the second pic is what it looked like a few months later. It's no beauty, but it looks ok. Anyhow, my point is, I got it cheap largely because it was so ugly. And, as Imo000 said, a few graphics can help a lot.

Mikekop's right of course - missed the missing infill panel (getting old, don't rub it in )
Having said that I'd rather find an infill panel than exhaust shrouds - don't think I've seen more than one pair for sale on e-Bay in 5 years !
Decals do make a big difference to the "impact' and willingness to buy.
I'd paint it red and stick some decals on it.........
