Talking The value of my 1988 cbr 1000f Hurricane

i have a 1988 honda hurricane cbr1000f, was wondering if anyone can tell me whats it worth
WHOLE! not in parts. The bike runs great and smooth. I have it sitting in my basement during winters and ride it over the summers. it Will probly need a new Chain this year. Bike is still fast, I am only interested in selling it cause i am looking to get a newer "LIGHTER" motorcycle. I love the bike but need something lighter, I think this code will work.
email me for some more pics if someones interested....
MAINLY i just want to know what its worth i Uploaded some pics of it here
if anyone can give me a ball park figure
i have search the net but didnt get a good figure to go by
Thanks

That's from a dealer. Expect to get less. Also, kick off a few bucks for the non-stock paint. I'd say $1500 to $1600 or thereabouts would be fair.

Holly hell. You've painted EVERYTING on that bike, even the rubber flaps behind the side covers. I think this is a sub $1000 bike.

Agree with Imo - once I saw that the air intake flaps had been painted, I had the same reaction, as I think most guys would. Clean the flaps/other rubber bits with thinners and you'll probably get a bit more for it.Price - who knows ?
I'm not saying it isn't a nice bike, everything's there (even the exhaust shrouds)
so that's a positive........
Colour would be a no-no for me.
What bike are you considering as a replacement ?

It would help if we knew where you were in the world (HO HUM)- prices are twice as much in Mexico....(Hola Luis !) That bike in SA is worth about $1200 US

Actually, Shadow, everything is NOT there. The cover over the radiator fill cap on the right of gastank is missing.

Indeed. Look's like it's been filler-sprayed and left like that.
When are people gonna learn? Paint it like it was or not at all.
