Yes the bird is nice too bad it wasnt in Red I was thinking about taking the plastic off and havign it all painted Red but I will just have to put up with it as Silver. My bird has 6,000 Ks on her now not bad since June and I havnt had her on a trip yet!! Not yet anyway. Honda are an unbeatable machine

since i changed my alt and RR unit and fiited extra wiring to eliminate voltage loss, i have the following readings:


1000rpm -12.66v

1500rpm - 14.13v +-.15v

2000rpm+ - 14.20-14.30v

anything under 15.00v i would concider normal,orthough if yr getting around 15.0v even with yr lights on, i would check the battery levels occasionaly as its close to overcharging and will boil yr battery, but since my charging is so much better now the bike is running with so much more "feel" or power im guessing due to higher voltage to the ignition coils giving more spark.

anyway waz, yr charging seems fine, but yeah dont try measuring in amps, u will start blowing things up

(just envy red since mine is boring dark grey)
