If you mean the chrome tubes they're 42mm OD, if you mean the lower part of the fork, the seal driver I have is 51mm.

Only measured with a tape measure though, so might be +/- a gnats whisker.

Hope this helps you out Mark.

Post your findings, I may be interested also. Can't get rid of the mid speed shake I get when I hang a bag. Hoping I can dampen it.

Check your tires for air pressure, but also un-even wear.
I know this is hard to do, but I changed a very low mileage front tire (Dunlop Bias POS) for Michelin Activa and the shakes was gone instantly.
I noticed the side walls on the Dunlop kind of dried and cracked.
Maybe an old batch?
Anyways, check steering bearings, torque and warped disc.

Fork Brace is what I need it for - I may make one
Anyway

Digital Measuring Caliper says 63.02mm and that's the 93 1000f

So the .02 must be the paint ! or my by eyesight in taking a level linear measure

Sprock, get some ideas from these ones.

motorcycle frnt fork brace - Bing Images

Review of the SuperBrace by Webbike.com
The SuperBrace Fork Brace Stabilizer

A fork brace or fork stabilizer is supposed to help prevent twisting or torque in the front forks of a motorcycle. The theory is that adding a fork brace can help to reduce low- and high-speed wobbles, improve stability and reduce tire cupping, according to the manufacturer. A fork brace is also claimed to help reduce sensitivity to rain grooves in the pavement.

Noble goals, for sure, but whether a fork brace does this or not may be open to debate and interpretation. I'd venture to guess that most owners don't ride hard enough to notice. And my other theory is that if a fork brace was a magic solution, the manufacturers would add it to the bike right from the factory.

The bottom line is that we haven't noticed any difference with the SuperBrace Fork Brace installed on the DR650. That's not to say that it isn't working; it's probably more of a reflection on the rider(s) than the bike.

But, like many other accessories we've added to the DR650 -- most of which look cool but aren't absolutely necessary, when you get right down to it -- the SuperBrace Fork Brace adds some style and panache to the bike and, like I said, it can't hurt...and maybe one of these days we'll be abusing the bike enough to take advantage of the device.

SuperBrace isn't the only fork brace or fork stabilizer manufacturer, but they're probably the best known. The products are made in the U.S.A. and the quality on this one is fantastic, no question about it. They claim a tolerance of ± 0.002 (inches) and the Fork Brace is made from 6061-T6 aluminum.
