Default Torque Settings ...

Hi All , have just done my first , Carb Clean and Valve adjustment , front break piston and Seals replace , with allot of help here from the form , I also took the radiator off , gave a good scrub and a re-paint , looking good .. Have put all the pipes back on but what I want to know is the Torque setting if there is one for the Jubilee Clips that connect the Pipes to the Radiator etc .... I am not sure how tight these have to be , if a good hand tight is enough or you need to torque them ... Guidance as always is welcome ...

Hand tight. Just be careful not to strip them.

Personally, I'd say, Hand tight. Just be careful not to strip them.

Regardless of what has already been said.

Put a little light grease on the worm drive and slots in the jubilee clips - they turn easier and it helps reduce rust.

Stainless marine hose clamps are good and hand tight plus a 1/4 turn works well for me
