OK, I now have well over 6,000 miles on the tires and showing little wear. Most riding was done with 3-bags and tent on board over the road.

The tire does everything well.

I have found out that Shinko is a Yokohama tire or division of. Search for {Shinko Yohohama} and you can read about it. They claim to be the #1 tire in the states.

I may have to look into these next time around. I have just under 4k on my PR2s.... still barely any wear at all.... but the 009s are quite a bit cheaper.

I didn't even know JC Whitney carried moto tire. lol..
They're like $80/set cheaper than the PR2.

I have them on my bike, and love them, they're only foe is a lil sand that i found this morning on my way to work. My poor bike is a lil mangled up from it. Oh well, still love the tires they have tons of tread on em!
