tires tires tires?
I found a good deal on tires at, www .compacc. com now the question is the bike calls for a 170/60-17. now can I put a 180/55-17 or will it throw off my speedo? And can I use the size? Where do you guys buy tires??? I know I should search first but all I have is my phone and its very difficult

Yeah to a 180 and after that it's checking to see who has promo's , free shipping etc.
Motorcycle Superstore is one such bigger dealer, sportbiketrackgear being another.
Ebay too has some good grabs from time to time..... best advice find the size and
brand you want and google your heart out

Yep, 180 is fine.
What's funny is that the dunlop fitment guide says that the later model F like ours has a 5" rear rim but it doesn't. Mine has a 5.5" and it's stamped right on the rear wheel.

Not that you'd ever notice with respect to the 55 aspect ratio...... insignificant
Overall total circumference of the tire would only be reduced or added to
(depending on Manufacturer Mould Profile) by a milimeter or two at best ......imo
