regular bar-end weights, gel grips, gel-palmed olympia gloves (which are awesome), gen-mar risers, and loose grip on the bars is what I do.
I've also balanced the carbs and set the balancer balcklash. I know I'm good for at least 600miles/day.
I would also make sure your wheel alignment/balance is good. That can make a difference.

Where did you find the gel grips and gloves? There is a set of VFR Helibars on ebay I was thinking about for $128.

The gel grips can be found just about anywhere online or in the moto shops. Made by "pro grip". Dual density gel.
The gloves are made by Olympia. My dad actually got them at a shop and gave them to me as a birthday gift, but they are all over online stores.

HERE is a link to the ones I have. They're more of a touring/all purpose glove, but if you wanna go with something different, they make all different kinds of gel palmed ones.
