I wish you very good luck re-keying your bike and home. I'm sure it's something that can be done with your time, your money, and your teeth nashing. For the most part in the states the police don't have the resources or the desire to pursue burglery investigations. There are just too many of them. It's really left up to the individual to deter this sort of thing. To me peace of mind and security in my home are priceless. Anyone who takes that away should pay dearly.
One of my favorite quotes, from CAR & DRIVER, of all places, years ago: "In the state of Texas, breaking and enteringis the same thing as suicide". On the soapbox a bit now, but glad we have the Second Amendment in the USA. Remember that on election day!
