Hi.You seem to know your way around motorbikes.Could you help me?...I tested the thermo switch and its ok.The temperature goes up to 3/4 and the fan kicks in ...but straight after it starts going very slow( the fan) and stops and the temperature keeps rising.I grounded the cable that goes to the thermo switch and the fan spins really fast so i guess there is no problem with fan....so what can it be.?/?/YOUR sugestions would be much appreciated.....P.S i have a honda CBR 600 Fy 2000....thank you very much

Manny sounds like the switch is not 100 % even if it clicks on and then fades off.

As for alternates that run at lower temps , I believe a Nissan Pulsar (83 switch) works
although not tried it yet myself but intend to as my 93 1000F has a dicky switch with
same problem as yours Manny

oem nissan part # 21595-01A00 or
autozone SW524
AUTO-TUNE Part # PT2636
KEMPARTS Part # TW111
ORIGINAL ENGINE MANAGEMENT Part # 8414
FOUR SEASONS Part # 36501

It's a 2 terminal switch where you apparently just ground out one side
to the frame for it to work, metric 16 X 1.5 thread
