Default Anyone have an extra radiator thermo switch laying around???

Mine has failed so the fan doesn't turn on at all. If I disconnect the wire going to the switch and ground it out the fan turns right on. So I need a new switch. I'm too poor to get a new one for $48 so I was hoping someone here maybe had one laying around. Thanks!!!

Wire it on a toggle switch until you can get a new thermo switch for it. Also check Ebay you might be able to find one on the cheap there.

I think I'm going to do this. I'm not good with wiring stuff so I'm not going to do the toggle switch.

Try Bernies motorcycles on 01420561569(00441420561569) or 07772457294 (00447772457294). He sells good working second hand parts. Have been buying from him for years and never had a problem.Tell him that Manny from Gatwick refered you....hope it helsps

wiring the fan to run all the time is better than not at all but its not really good for the engine either. An engine is supposed to reach a certain temperature to run correctly and efficiently so you need to get that fixed whenever you can. it will work as a temporary solution but dont go too long like that,
