Yup, that SS Swing Arm - the whole bike actually - looks mighty fine

please give us a write up on the seat conversion!!!

I have an 87 as well, and its getting garaged for the winter for a major overhaul.. I'd LOVE to do your seat

i'm geussing it's the hole rear sub frame.....the question i have is, if my previous statement is true, how did u weld aluminum to steel

well i cant find where i did my write up so ill do some more here. the whole tail came off a 1000rr and since i couldnt weld it on i had to make up tabs to bolt it too. for the top mount i cut a hole through the bracket the tank mounts to and put a threaded piece of pipe through that and welded it in. i dont have any good photos of that but it was very easy to do, just double check that its all level. for the bottom mounts i dropped a tab down from the upright pieces that i made. heres some pics of the uprights that i made from box tubing i cut and bent and welded back up.

I Would like to know about the SS swingarm, and the install. i got my Eye on one at the local yard, but i dont want to waste time with the wrong stuff. I guess I want to know if its a bolt on or did you need to FAB-UP something to get the alinement right?

the tail swap was much easier then the swingarm. definetly plan on putting some time in if you swap the swingarm.
