Default StreetFighter Hurricane?

Ok This is like my second post ever. The reason being is that i can use the search and find the info i need, but thats neither her nor there. today i have some questions that i haven't been able to get any answers for, can you help?
I picked up my hurricane from the OG owner. The guy bought it in 87' and rode it untill 95'. His kid rode it for about a year and laid it down in their drive-way. I got the bike about 6months ago am just rode it As-Is. last month i tried to teach my older brother how to ride and he dropped it, not to menchion that i laided it down at about 35MPH the first month i had it. so she is pretty beat.
Now my question, Please read carefullyI was thinking about making a StreetFighter out of my hurricane. I would change the entire front end to a gixxer front end. (for the brakes, suspension system and it would allow a wider tire.) Also i was thinking of a VFR swing arm in the rear, I have always loved the single sided swingarm. (This would allow a wider tire and better brakes) Of course i will go through the entire engine from top to bottom, (because it sat for like ten years) and shave as much wieght as possible.
Is this just a pipe dream? Whats your thoughts on it.
