I need to pull my carb bank of my 87' 1000 and I just cannot seem to find an easy way to pull the airbox out unless anyone has any suggestions.

You yank the carbs out first, and then the airbox. That is the easy bit. The hard part is to get it back again..... 4 x 2 rubbers to align and not much space to work in.
No, seriously, it is not as hard as it sounds.
