Default Steel fuel line.

Steel fuel lines
Steel fuel line (for the most part).
Has anyone heard of this?
I am thinking of replacing my old gas line (I think its so old its collapsing under motor heat). Of course I will put the good rubber stuff back on immediately but Im always thinking bigger better.

That looks like great stuff.
Originally had In my mind a 5/16" gas tubing and a
pipe bender hose clamped in to new rubber portions.
I like your thinking though.

You can get it at any auto parts store. Just tell them you want braided fuel line. I did a quick search on Advanced Auto Parts and they are selling 4' of the 1/4" for $13.97.

Funny you should mention that, I'm picking one up Saturday (Craigslist)
to bend some 2" tubing for custom exhaust work

Be interesting to see how all your fuel related items pan out !

My bike has 3/8" gas line on it. Does this sound correct or can I fudge a little?
