Standard light functions
Hey there, I finally got a new battery and powered up my 88 1000F, all signals work, brake light works, taillights work, hi beam works.
Low beam not working. The one thing I am wondering is with key power on my front 2 signal lights are powered, then when you put on the turn signal the flash brighter, the rear signal lights are off until I use the turn signal switch……. Is this normal?
thanks in advance,
Todd

Remove headlight bulb:
1. Verify that low-beam filament is good or bad. Easy test is to power bulb directly from battery with jumpers.
2. Key ON, verify you have battery voltage at low-beam terminal in bulb socket
Yes, rear winkers only blink when signal switch is flipped to L or R
Front lights have dual-filament bulbs for 2 functions. One is marker lights that’s ON whenever key ON. When signal switch is flipped L or R, marker lights turn OFF and winkers blink. Should be completely OFF during blank interval of winkers.
