I got a 18mm long wall socket from Repco and a full rubber spark plug starter/remover (looks like a screwdriver only completely rubber) .I pulled out the old plug which looked oily but I would say it was just wet from unburnt fuel as the photo shows it now dried out with a lot of dry crud, maybe carbon? I have just run some Liqui-moly engine flush and also their carbi flush(after this problem started). I installed a new plug in #3 and the bike started 1st pop then blew smoke like a steam train for about 10km and has now cleared to it's old smokey self, hooray. So it may have just been oiled up like a 2 stroke (I am on my 2nd 4litre drum of Motul 20w50 oil to around 4 tanks of fuel) The bike was hard to get into top gear before the flush but now slips in easily and all the gears feel smoother, hopefully the oil consumption may ease after this flush. The bike was not used for a while before I purchsed it at xmas it now has 62500km on the clock
