Default So : What Gear have you got lately ? eh !

yeah so today I decided I needed some new dancing shoes

Got myself a pair of Tourmaster Response Road Boots (waterproof)
as my old sh!tty boots split apart ...Vega brand ....what a waste those POS's were ! (Stay away from 'em)

Anyway the Tourmasters came in okay at 102 bucks shipped M-S-Store
They're waterproof and not a full length boot, better for summer riding !
and as a former rugger player with propfwd legs too lol, oh and the reviews
were pretty damned good on them....so what the hell worth a try I'd say

They better get here before the big Trip !

Anyone been getting any gear lately ??

Also grabbed 3 more pairs of kevlar jeans. Saving up for some pants that'll attach to the jacket. My gear budget is pushed to the limits

I picked up new rain gear and left it home when I went to price tires. Boy oh boy did I get caught in a good down pour. I don't mind if I'm moving but I was in stop and go rush hour traffic. I was thinking about the rain gear the whole time.

Sprock, I think you will be seeing me wear it on Thursday and Friday if things don't change.

Picked up a brand-new set of chaps for momma for $50 of craiglist on Saturday.
Fit perfect, just had to trim for length.

Just ordered

Bionic 2 Protection Jacket
SP-2 Gloves
Torque Jeans
Reflex Knee Guards

It's funny, when I was younger I would ride in sandals, t-shirt, shorts, and helmet. I look back now and think how stupid I was....

I hear yah about the kids. I have 3. I just got a bonus at work, thats why I was able to afford what I just ordered. I still need better boots, and a leather jacket as I have a textile one now. Maybe in a couple of months..... People that live in climates like us cant ride year round. Well, least most dont :P

So long as I stay away from Revzilla (their store is a couple blocks from the office) gear purchases are strictly budgeted. Otherwise I'd have to dig into the Beer Budget
