Default Slow starter

Ok so it's minus three outside today so of course I go out for a ride [&:][&:], not ridden the bike for a couple of days (been working). Normally she starts up easily but today she turned over quite slow and needed a couple of attempts . So is this a temperature issue or do I need to have her on a charger all the time? I thought as I ride her nearly every day this wouldn't be needed , but dont want to end up with a flat battery[:@]

Yeah - this temp will kill a battery real quick.
I keep mine on an oxford maximiser. If you take out a Sub to Fast Bikes at the moment you can get a free one

Keep it on charge - cold weather is a killer of batteries.[X(]
They can die in a half hour if left to get really cold.
Maybe removing it and keeping on charge in a warmer part of the house ?

Dont know

MAke sure you get a charger that is meant for bikes though - ideally one you can leave connected up all the time.
I have known car chargers to fry bike batterys

This is what I use

It does - they are a little bigger and it takes a bit longer, but car batteries are just as susceptible.
Camera batteries have to be kept close to the human body in arctic conditions, or they fail almost immediately.
