Don't change to Metz. Believe me, the Bridgy is a better wet weather tyre. If you're gonna change, i'd go for the Avon Av45/46 st tyres.
Sorry mate, but I beg to differ. The Metz is the tops in wet weather preformance in every tire shoot out that I have seen over the Avons. The 'stones (020's) were near the bottom of the heap. Plus the Avons have a wierd slow speed wobble that has been reported on many bike different specific forums.
On the track, and on the road in all conditions the Z6 has been tops in all the tire test in all the different bike mags. The Pilot Roads and Pirelli Diablo's were right up there too.
I've had the Avons and they were good tires. The low speed wobble is a little weird until you get used to it, but they offer good grip and decent mileage. But the Z6's just do everything so well, I don't see a reason to change.
That's my $.02 anyway.....

It could be one other thing, that the chain oil splashes the tire.
Are you using a Scott oiler or something similar?
If you are just uisng the spray on oil from a can, unless you are using a full can every time you lube your chain, I really doubt that is the issue. Most of the excess oil gets thrown off on the front sprocket because of the smaller radius. Plus the majority of the excess lube is flung off in the first few hundred feet of riding.
If you are using an oiler, check to make sure that you aren't over oiling. But even then, it would be hard to get enough on the tire to make it slide much if at all.

For me the Pilot Roads or the Avons are the best wet weather tyre.

You think BT020's are bad in the wet. Try using BT0002 Racing ones in the wet. They are almost a slick. Wet corners are taken very carefully

Any tyre with a hifh Silica Content will usually ge bood in the wet. Your tyre fitter should be able to tell you the Silca percentage.

In wet conditions:
3/4 throttle 2nd gear 7000rpm it spins.
In corners after a crossing I can hardly touch the throttle in 1:st gear before the rear comes out

Do you really find that peculiar that it does that???
At 7000 rpm the bike is almost pulling max torque... And then in the wet. I think I dosn't matter what tyre you put on it. With that kind of throttle in the wet, any backtyre will spin !

I disagree because it did not behave this way when the tire as new.
End of this week will be interesting when I get my new Metzler.
It always rains in Boras so a test will be easy to performe.
Maby I will ask to keep the old battlax if there is no difference :-)

"Are you using a Scott oiler or something similar?"
Well I use silcolene spray and quite a lot too, its the kind that bubbles, not the white stuff.

Have you been giving the tyre a hiding previously?

I find that when i do a track day my tyres gets a blue sheen to it which is some kind of oil coming out of the tyre.
