Nice looking bike... are those side-view mirrors painted white or is that some type of color. I've done my bike over with a custom paint job - almost done...

THANX! THEY ARE ACTUALLY ARE GREY BUT FADED IN THE SUN OVER THE YEARS. NICE PAINT ON YOURS LOOKS TIGHT!!STEP UP TO A VANCE AND HINES SS2R EXHAUST AND LOSE THE STOCK ONE

Sliverbird, do you have a Crobin or Sargent? I've got a Corbin, which is comfy but the seat slides, doesn't lock in place. I'm going to try and put some fasteners on the frame to try and hold it in place. Any issues with you seat sliding around?

yeah its a corbin. i havent had any problems other than its starting to crack i need a new one but i would suggest corbin!

I have a Corbin on my 87 that is showing it's age too. Corbin is awfully proud of their gear. I don't remember exactly what the cost was, but their quote for just a seat cover was damn near as much as a new seat. I opted to fix it myself and live with it for as long as I could. It looks pretty tacky, but my wallet didn't take a hit. When the Corbin finally wears out due to use or age, I will junk it for the stocker again. The stock seat doesn't have a hump in it where the corbin meets the tank and I never really found the Corbin to be THAT much more comfortable.
