Rumble, rumble, rumble?
Hi guys,
Noticed lately that the bike rumbles when on 'over-run'(i.e. when no throttle applied), there is also vibration through the foot pegs Was trying to hear if it stopped when the clutch is pulled in, it's hard to tell, but I think it is quieter.
Both the front and rear wheel bearings are about six months old, do not make noise or have any play when the bike is raised.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Look under the "how to" section, Pat
Trout did a good write up (but don't tell him I said so"
I think Hawk's bike's just shagged from all the salt air, and slow rides

Maybe rear wheel carrier bearing - the big bugger in the middle, or even the outer ones. Not sure without hearing it close up and personal......hell I had my front sprocket come loose ones.... talk about a strange noise.................
Sorry I can't be more specific.
And yes, let's hope it isn't a bearing, but I doubt it................

Chain would be my guess, too.... although didn't you just replace that, Steve? Maybe just an adjustment. That's what I would try first, check the chain freeplay, clean and WD40 it.
If it's not that, I'd have a good look at your sprockets, particularly front.
Love you, too, old chap.
