Default On the Road Again

I got my speed bleeders instaled yesterday. The front was a piece of cake. For the rear I had to move the exhaut. Then it took me about an hour to figure out that I had to reposition one of the rear brake lines to be able to screw in the rear most bleeder. The actual changing of the fluid was very easy with the speed bleeders.
Got the beast fired up after a long winter's nap. Took her out around the block, 3-4 miles, to get the oil warm. Changed the oil and filter. This will be the second season using Amsoil 10W-40.
I put NGK irridium plugs in last year so they should be good to go still. The valves were quiet so I'm probably wait to check them.
The last thing I need to do is change the clutch fluid.

Default speed bleeder

Yes Hawkwind. I have a speed bleeder for the clutch. I just ran out of time and energy. I'm not as young as I once was. The project for tonight was to put the new registration sticker on the LP and put the new registration and insurance card in a ziplock bag and duct taping it under the seat. Now it's time for a beer.

^^ Haha! I'm just a lazy bastard...lol...

I'll tear my bike apart, replace a bunch of parts, then it will sit with nothing more to do but 5 mins of plastic work.
I guess if it was my only ride, it would be done in a night.....

I'll have a beer with ya, tho! Congrats!

Nice work Bassman - I know how it feels when you say that you ran out of energy/enthusiasm. Happens to me too. I'm going to think long and hard before I do the primary chain and tensioner......

Good on ya Bassman. Our season is gearing down but yours is gearing up. Ride hard, ride long & stay upright. Have a good season.

ps. I still bleed mine the old way.
