Just my opinion - based upon personal experience - but I still use them as I do
like the range of options in setting them up & as I said previously I have
taken steps to ensure they now clamp solidly with as I said longer bolts and
lock nuts.

They are doable - with a fair bit of work

thanks for the input, i dont mind doing the work, tapping new holes for weights would be the hardest part, i dont mind the idea of through bolting. I will look at other options but so far this seems like what i want to accomplish. And the price seems ok

yeah the price is about as good as it gets - tapping is not too bad - just got to get
it right the first time - the one good thing is they are easy to drill for the tap as
the alum is softer than usual.

thanks for all the input. I will probly do this over the winter. i found some others but they are around 300 for the set. Sprock, did you have to change any cables or hoses to make them reach?

nope just had to reroute throttle cables a bit different and loosen - move the master cylinder banjo's a bit to angle them a bit better - you'll see depending on how you
set them up.
