I got the pleasure to meet CosmoBob and a friend of him today. The weather has been absolutely great and we had great fun on medium-speed to high-speedtwisty roads. CosmoBob andI changed bikes for a part of the distance. I like the CBR 1000 F a lot since before, and his bike is in the same great condition as Blue1000F's bike. These old bikes are surprisingly competitive, which several hard-coresport bike riders have learned when we have meet on twisty roads.

I often hear comments about my "old girl" like
"gee, she's still got what it takes" and such things.
She makes me proud.
I hope CosmoBob's better looking than his avatar !! he he
I have a few Norwegian and Swedish friends, (Hi Marko) they try to teach me, but I'm a slow learner, CosmoBob.....Maybe at Christmas time I'll still be saying God Paske ! he he

Glad you had a great ride out guys, and in this current climate, you all got home in one piece.

Can't wait for this RAIN to end; it is doing my head in.

It was a great pleasure to meet R1000 today! Wonderful roads and sensible riding really makes for a great time. The roads I am really thrilled to have been shown, and I will go there again soon. I found out that I really like R1000's Blackbird. It feels more alive and responsive compared to the Hurricane, and I find it to suit my ergonomics a bit more (hope that view isn't blasfemi on this forum ;-). Still the Hurricane is a real rocket, with lots of stability and grunt (including a soft seat :-)

Nice one Cosmobob. I think all of us would probably like a Black&*() if we were honest and had the money to spend. I would not say no to a FI one.... although when I rode one I did not find it as comfy as my ZZR11.

Shadow. I have no problem with that big girl's blouse coming over. My address is 10 Downing Street [:-]

Hi Shadow, i think we can learn an "old dog" to sit .
Here's one "old girl" or "old lady" = "gamla tjejen" or "gamla damen"
One more "old fart" = "gamla gubbe" ha ha !

Thats what we call Hell Moppers in Sweden (nice ladys and gentlemens on 50 cc mopeds). Nice bike to, it is really fun to drive the 'Cane, strong as hell, well balanced and super comfy. You can never feel better than when outrunning new sport bikes with a bitolder bike.
