Take a car tyre inner tube, CosmoBob, and cut it across. Do it again and you'll have a rubber band wide enough to hold your camera to your helmet........cheap, too. There are camera mounts for sale cheap on e-Bay.....much cheaper than Touratech....

The season hasn't stated in Denmark yet. In this country we use a lot of salt on the roads to keep them dry (those bastards!) So taking a ride eventhough the weather is fine, will ruin my brakes in no time. Have to wait untill we get above freezingpoint at night and they stop salting the roads, before the season starts for my part![:@]

I just can't get myself to ride my CBR on salted roads eventhough some of my mates does it with no regrets... Silly gits

Just watched Cosmobobs video. Too bad about your cowl, sounds good though. I noticed, like alot of bikers, using your kill switch to start your bike. I dont understand why people use the kill switch to start the bike. Just leave it in the "run" position, it will save you wear and tear on the switch. If for some reason you need to kill the engine, thats when you should be using it. Just food for thought )

Same here, I never use the kill-switch. The basic reason is that Inormally forgotted to swich it back to ON position, causing a few seconds of refuse to start condition the next time. And I don't use a front disk lock either, other when absolutely necessary, by the same reason [X(]I still know my name though

I was going to go out to the garage yesterday to check on the bike but it was 4°F and windy out there. The hell with that!

Edit: 4°F = -15.5C (not good either way)

What about the cowl? I haven't noticed anything wrong... It seems almost flawless to me.

Please answer me this as I'm really curious: how is it possible to start a bike with the kill switch?

I have NEVER EVER used the kill switch to kill or start (?) any bike. I can't imagine where you got that idea from.

You have to put the kill switch to start, Cosmobob.....also, turn on the ignition and hit the starter button.....I think they left out those unimportant bits......he he

You are going to so hate me for this but today it was almost 80. I pulled the steed out of the stable and pulled the trigger on some really good curves. Hell I even met up with a guy riding a ducati 1098. had a quick chit chat and burned up the road. No stunting stuff just some wicked lean angles.

you should move to southern california.
