Default Rear Wheel.

Hi, need some info re. rear wheel spacers, when I bought my bike an '87 CBR1000f it already had the rear mod, as in it had a 89 on rim.
problem I have is it didnt have the correct spacer on the disc side of the wheel, it had a spacer and a couple of washers to make it up to the correct size, now since i have had the rear off, I can't remember how it went together.
could some one please let me know what size spacer should be on that side, i have a part number but it doesnt give the dimensions of it.
I have got the wheel back in, but misplaced the washers, what i have done, is use the original spacer from the original front wheel (wider than orig rear) plus a washer, but not sure if its all lined up properly.
not even sure its assembled properly, should the calliper brace be directly against the swing arm then a spacer? if you know what I mean! as i have it now the cailliper seems to line up with the disc

The set up I had on mine with the orginal 87-88 spacer in the back was the 5 washer( 1mm each) on the right side of the rear wheel ( brake disk side). If you want to get a spacer cut to the right size get a 89-93 spacer and cut it to the 87-88 orginal size plus 5 milimiters.

Hi thanks for the reply, but the only problem is, I dont have any of the original bits that came off the rear, it had already been done before I bought it.
I just dont know how thick the spacer should be, I am just asuming the spacer on the sprocket side is correct, but knowing how thick that should be would help just to be sure.
Only other option would be to buy 2 new spacers, just to be sure.
Also am I correct to assume there is no difference between the '88 and '90 swing arm?

Weeto mate - I'll go out and check that for ya shortly - before I get going on "Green Day" festivities

Gimme an hour or 2 and I'll snap a pic of the spacer setups on both scenarios

Thanks for that, I am pretty sure I have done the front end conversion ok, I cheated, I bought 2 new spacers for it approx £14, but the rear is a mismatch I think with spacers and washers, I think I would prefer to buy new ones so the job is right.
Will take a snap of mine I'm the morning so I can compare as bike is in a shed at work at the moment.
Will also post a pic up of the bike with the matching newly powder coated rims on.
Thanks again. Alan.

Got the speedo working off the sprocket cover drive now, not much left to do for this season now, oil change and plugs and a few other bits and pieces.
