Default Rear suspension 1995 1000F

Hi guys
I've been searching and reading, but I can't really get a straight answer..
So here goes:
How can I raise the rear end by 1-2 inches in a cheap and easy way?
Regards
Jakob

you can drop the forks down but this will upset the handling im sure, im not sure if the dog bones on your model are seperate from the linkage, my 88 are fixed, usually shorter dog bones raise the rear, or you can cut 2" off your legs, cheap but painfull

Hey Jakob,

I found this thread from 2010.

It may help - but I'd be cautious about chopping the dog bones up.

It may be worth looking to see if some other Honda - CBR1000R(R) ?? ones may fit. We used to be able to swap with some minor modification ZZR1100 (?) dog bones to the GTR1000 Kawasaki to change ride height.

Cheers, SB

Guys,
I was wondering if winding the collars down on the rear shock spring would raise ride height ? I'd also like a little extra height to take the ache out of my knees I get from time to time. I have the new Wilbers shock so the collars wont be to tight on there. sorry if its a silly question but I'm not that good with suspension issues.
