Default New Wilbers Suspension package-1000f

The stock shock at 18 years old and 26,000 miles makes riding the 1000 feel like riding an old sofa.

Decided I was going to keep her so I dropped a line to Wilbers and had a setup made for me.

I'll do a writeup when I install it with a few pics.

Later,
Andy

I bought direct from Wilbers in Germany. They have a great English speaking "WilbersUSA" division. They send you a quote and I went back and forth with the guys about the specs for a while. The guys name I dealt with was Dirk Wenzelman and he was great.

You can contact them at http://www.motorcycle-suspension.com...cts/index.html

They also have a US distributor (EPM) but the price was the same. Shipping from Germany was reasonable and suprisingly quick.

Maybe you could send your old unit to Faraway, who's looking for one to shorten , or Morayman for a lady Hurricane owner who needs to lower her bike.- I'm sure he'd be thankful.
Nice bike......I'm still running my original shock at 38000 miles, and she still corners as well as ever, or maybe I'm just used to the old girl.....I think I'll have it checked, so thanks for the heads up.....
