Rear brake drag
Good day to all, hope al is well in your riding world! My 87 1000F had a replacement set of EBC double H pads recently installed (self)...i seem to get a bit more drag than I would like, sometimes the rear disc is a little hot (even when I know it is not being used). The caliper seems to operate normally, but the inboard side seems to move a little more than the inboard side. My question- is the lower caliper bolt (fully threaded, directly below the pucks, as opposed to the partially threaded upper pivot bolt) goes through a sleeve as it bolts in. is this sleeve ( has rubbers to keep the elements out) supposed to allow the caliper to float freely? Mine is very tight, would only move with a c - clamp etc. Any advice greatly appreciated, thank you.
