Welcome to the 1000F section man . Sounds like your rear shock might be done , as in worn out and at 6.3 you might want to consider lowering the foot pegs with cycle
pirates or Buell pegs or something.

Raising the rear if the shock is junk won't help much imo

Have you tried to increase the preload of the rear spring?

Default hagon shock

its heaps better than the pogo that was there ,it does raise the rear about 20mm as for transfering more weight to the front it doesnt happen the shock lifts it up not forward ,it will quicken the steering a bit and cause it to lean more on sidestand.2 litres of fuel would put more weight on front than the shock. overall im happy with my dinosuaor and the misses likes it [(main reason to lift rear)less chance of scraping when bottoming on ****ed aussie roads]

ps only came to find valve clearance its 0.10 mm in 0.15 ex

Disagree with ya Captain, if the rear goes higher than stock it most certainly does
pivot more weight forward ..... in my humble opinion basic laws of physics

Have to agree with Sprock - result of lifting rear, while not as pronounced as, say, dropping the front by 20mm (EEK !!) will improve quick turning which means you have more weight forward.
At the end of the day it really doesn't matter, so long as you are happy with the result !
And if you think Oz roads are bad, try ours - we lose giraffes in potholes !!

you could weigh it i bet is less than 2 kgs ,not much on a 270 kg bike and not as much as filling the fuel tank up.and lowering rear will not make the front lighter.it will slow steering response to counter steering
