You will always get SOME vibration with an in-line 4 because the opposing forces are not equal. By their very nature they'll vibrate. Honda and others try to smooth things out by adding a balance shaft but it'll never be perfect.
I think you Americans will understand this more being the land of the silky smooth V8.
