It's interesting that they chose to compare the Honda 1000cc engine with 1100cc engines from the other manufacturers. I wonder why they didn't compare the BlackBird. It has a 1100cc engine, right? My guess is because that would have made the other manufacturer's bikes look anemic.

The article is from '93. The Blackbird didn't exist yet.

Update: the Blackbird destroys them.

As far as the 1kf through the years, I don't really care what year you have. They are all essentially the same machine, and are allsweet bikes. Minimal differences, mostly unnoticable.
I remember when I first saw a Hurricane, back in 1988. I was always hanging out at a local bike shop on my badass XR80 that I ran all around the countryside.I came in one day to find that the owner had bought one brand new. I fell in love. I told myself that one day I'd have one. It took me about 17 years, but....
