It appears from the fairing design and colors that this bike is a 1990 model. The 1990 model was made in silver, like Shadow's, and in this red, white, and blue scheme. Are you sure you were told it's a '93?

Latest it could possibly be is a 1991, because no models were produced (according to Haynes) in 1992, and in 1993 the front indicators moved, dual braking came in, and the tailpiece and front fairing were all different. As for the exhaust shrouds, there was a guy selling a pair on e-BayUK and he was asking 5 pounds and they didn't sell.......I'll see if I can find the info, and PM it to you
Still, a fine example of a CBR there Father Zed.........but it's an 89 model......!
Pics of both 89 models that were produced, plus the 93 bike. Differences are readily apparent.
