Petcock replacement
Hello,
I have a '90 and the petcock leaks. It appears to be on the 'riveted' side, and I've tried to fix it to no avail. In searching, it seems that new petcocks are super scarce. Can a universal petcock be retrofitted? The bike is very seldom ridden, so I'm not concerned with losing the safety feature of having a vacuum operated petcock.
Any ideas about fixing my OEM petcock or retrofitting another would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Try this:

It's a unique fitting I think.
I think the petcock has 3 or 4 bolts holding it on.......
BTW - there's a rubber O ring on the petcock - between it and the tank -could be leaking. Fit another thin gasket under it, and it may solve the problem.
